to
the Cathedral of the Incarnation, home to the Rt. Rev. Louis Campese,
Bishop Ordinary who presides over the Diocese of the Eastern United
States of the Anglican Church in America.
OUR VISION STATEMENT
The Cathedral of the Incarnation: a community that lives and proclaims
Jesus Christ as defined in Scripture and expressed through our beautiful,
ancient liturgy.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
We, the parishioners of the Cathedral of the Incarnation,
Anglican Church in America, Traditional Anglican Communion are called
by baptism to live and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ by:
• Worshipping God in prayer and sacrament
• Teaching and preaching the Word of God
• Loving and serving our neighbor
It is the will of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to join heaven
and earth in praise and salutation. In our worship, we praise the
Most Holy Trinity and in our disciplined lives we follow in the
footsteps of the martyrs and all the saints made perfect. Gifted
an anointed by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to this mission
through responsible stewardship of our time, talent and material
resources.
OUR MINISTRY PLAN
The vision for our ministry at the Cathedral of the Incarnation
must always originate with our Lord. He has called and continues
to call and commission all of us to communicate it clearly to others
so that we may carry it through to completion.
He
said, Bring them hither to me
(Matt 14:18)
Our
ministry leadership is founded in revelation. Whether God has revealed
a five, ten, twenty or even a fifty-year vision, our ministry plan
must begin with the end in mind. God will place effective leadership
on this journey and communicate a plan to see the vision come to
pass.

In
Longwood, Florida, Northland
is a "mega-church" with over 6000 members.
The
Cathedral is a member of the American province of the world-wide
Traditional Anglican Communion, the Anglican
Church in America. We submits to the doctrine, discipline
and worship of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church as articulated
classically in the Apostles", Nicene and Athanasian Creeds;
the Ecumenical Councils of the ancient, undivided Church; and the
principles of faith and practice as set forth in both the ChicagoLambeth
Quadrilateral and the Affirmation of St. Louis. This classical Anglo-Catholic
orthodoxy finds liturgical expression in the Book of Common Prayer
(1928) and the Anglican Missal.
The
Cathedral of the Incarnation is committed to providing families
with spiritual and fellowship support, ranging from church services,
and social activities to religious
education for children and adults. Families and their children
can also take advantage of St.
Vincent's Academy, our Christian Pre-School.
We're
an Anglican congregation with deeply rooted Christian traditions
that adapt easily to our contemporary lives. Visit us this Sunday.
We are a community of friends and families who are ready to welcome
you into our caring congregation.
